lol My teachers blew it. They should have taught us more of suspension basics than all the electronic BS. And it really shouldnt be hard. We just have to remember which way we turned it after we put it back together

Man if that don't sound like a dig at Allan's exp. with mitsu. and evo. I would trust his 10-12 years working on 4g63 engines and trannys over most "certified" shops..On another note hes is the only one I know that would rebuild a 4g tranny on his own..On that note he has seen some pretty poor work from so called certified people. NOW no dig on you nightwalker but watch what you say about a well respected persons abilities in the 4g63 community.

Just use the Diaqueen honestly. Find Spins4 on the forums. I believe he works for a parts dept. at a well known mitsu dealer. He is a vendor on the forums anyways. If you dont feel comfortable doing that you can order it from lancershop.com or another online vendor. I got mine from lancershop with no problem. Im also getting ready to do my tcase and tranny as well. Does anyone here actually use the MR diaqueen trans fluid in their 5spd trans? Im wondering if its worth the money to buy it or if i should just get some Pennzoil Synchroshift from autozone?

Your situation sounds just like mine........what a mess..
Alan doesnt really work on trannys or tc's, but give him a ring or stop by and ask and see.

I use redline MT 90 in the tranny and Queen in the t-case and diff....smooth shifts after the change. Allan has a pretty good work relationship with Shep. give him a call and see what he can do for you.

I wouldn't use anything but LSD Diaqueen in the TC case, thats what Shep Racing and TRE recommends. Alan from Modified does work on trannys and T-cases and can def. hook you up w/ a good deal on a new or rebuilt 1 from Shep

He does work on them now? When i had my car in there, he didnt want to fool with the tranny. He was going to send it to a specialist. Thats good to know i guess for future reference.

Ok for the people that won't take there cars down to Allison i have a solution. One of my close friends and good buddies is a Tech down at allison. He has been working on cars for years and is one of the best mechanics in the reno area. His name is Greg Momac. So if anyone needs help please go see him and he will take care of you. So for the issues you guys had with the TC and the fluids go see him and see what he can do for you guys. He is one of the best. He's a somewhat of a new tech at allison mitsu. If you have any other questions you can get a hold of me or just go see him down there.
