BTW, the car is still in the shop (put it in thursday), but im very impressed with Allan and Modified Auto Salon. They found a few small problems that most shops probably would have missed and fixed them. The car should be running better than when it went in (before the messed up clutch of course ).

lol Yea i know what your talking about, but you just have to let it roll off your shoulders. Those were mainly taken at Crystal Bay. Ill get some more put up later at some other places.

 

what does everyones boost gauge idle at?, mine idles at 10-12 hg., just trying to compare.....

Mine is usually hovering around 12-14 hg, on a Apexi gauge.

 

Thanks man! Mine normally stays around 15-18 in. Hg. They fixed a boost leak that was right at the turbo, so we'll see what its at when i get the car back.

 

Mine is around 15 at idle.

 

Your level is based on the altitude because I live in Reno there is 2 inches less of mercury. At sea level you will see the idle balance at 2 to 3 clicks more of vacuum.

 

I came here from GA and mine was 20in. Hg there and here (with boost leaks fixed) im at 18in. Hg all the time. This is on an 03.

Speaking of which the car drives great with the new clutch! Big ups to Allan and his crew for doing a great job and staying late (I got my car back at 11:30 last night )

 

if you have cams, vacuum is less at idle too.
