Reno Area anybody?
Time to do a full fluid flush. Never worried about it in past cars. I can easily do the oil but I do not feel comfortable with changing the t-case and rear diff myself. Would anybody have some extra time and space (i live in a garageless condo) to help with this? Just a full fluid flush. Will pay for all parts/fluid (of course), along with all the beer you can drink, and a lunch.
I can't remember how much you need to use for the t-case and rear diff, but it'll be cheaper than buying your own can which I think runs for 50 bucks on lancershop. Now I just need to find it...
Also I'd be happy to help out when I can. Its not that hard for the T-case and rear diff. Theres just two plugs on each (top for filling and bottom for draining). You need a hand pump to get the fluid from the tin into the diff and tcase. I believe its the same for the trans. I did the tcase and rear diff while my friend did the trans.

Car went into the shop today BTW! He said he should take a day or two. I'm stoked!!!
Hell yea man! Gotta go for a ride when its done, wanna see how the Green does. Contemplating on whether or not to go that route myself. Specifically as to how much I'll miss my quick spooling stock turbo. Since I autocross and road race, I think I'll be having to do alot of downshifts into 1st gear to stay on the boost.....so we will see. Was looking into the full race twinscroll set up as an alternative. Nonetheless Grats !

. I've heard stories about him from Boostinpsi... Its like, lag, lag, lag, GOOOOOOOOO!!!!
The FP Green still gets full boost around 3500-3800rpm, so its not bad from stock and with meth or race gas you can easily pump out over 400 and some have gotten close to 500 with it.
Hey guys! I've had some pretty bad luck lately with rocks hitting my windshield on the freeway (two rocks in a month and a half). And the worst part is, I wasn't even tailgating, like I normally do. Anyways, the chip turned to a crack yesterday. Do any of you know of a good glass shop in town?
Go see Rob at Brite Glass, that guys knows glass like nobody's business and he'll give you options. Plus they install to factory spec which means he has to keep your car overnight due to it needing to be kept at very specific temps in order for the glass to set right. Those install on site guys are just begging for lawsuits, fortunately for them most people don't know that your front windscreen is actually part of the structrual integrity of your car and if the glass is not installed correctly, in a roll over, it can just pop out and then it's like putting a dent in the side of a beer can before you crush it... makes it a lot easier to crush.
Ask him if there are options, sometimes he has multiple companies he can buy from, and like almost everything he can either buy cheap or expensive, depends on what you want. When I replaced the front screen in my STI he gave me like 3 different options from cheap/cheap to cost some more/ but is better glass. Sometimes the windshield has tinting at the top or has the vinyl tint overlay, or it may have an antennae inbedded, etc it just depends on what you want. His guys even went so far to remove my wife's parking decals off of the old windscreen and replaced them on the new one along with our radar detector not that big of a deal but a nice small detail. For fun sometime see if you can find a car glass that he knows nothing about, I called once for a buddy of mine who's grandma needed a windshield replaced on her old 80's Olds Cutlass Sierra and he knew right off the top of his head what glass it was... he's good. He's an auto enthusiast and motorcycle racer too.
