Holey crap Jer. you are alive. How is washington? Oh well on the head, I guess he should stick to V8's. At least I didn't pay him for the "work" that was done.

You have Allan over at Modified #826-5545 and then theres always Allison Mitsu. but other than that everywhere else is a gamble hehe. I have seen quite a few botched DIY jobs and fried transfercases from wrong oil from other shops.
^^ what he said. I know it sounds bias from me but unlike many other places that have the $$$ as the bottom line Allan actually cares about the car. Just don't get something that is to much for what you have done. LIKE a 6 puck unsprung or a 4 puck sprung...AAAHHHMMMM you two know who I'm talking about

Yeah I was hoping to avoid having to take it to the dealership. I still have a bit of time while I save up the money to afford the clutch and pay for the install. Mitsu said the stock clutch and the job would cost 2300 ouch! Have been trying to do some research and find a good aftermarket clutch for my daily driver needs.
My car never sees the track and I hardly race it, the stock lasted me 55K, but I'm still looking towards an aftermarket clutch. Heard good things about the ACT HDSS even for daily drivers. My cars pretty much bone stock besides full exhaust as well so I just need a good solid basic clutch for the replacement.

Ouch is right, I think they charge 1500 for the stock clutch...ACT is a good clutch w/ a little bit of increased pedal feel, 1 of the best options for a single disc.I think Exedy makes a stageII thats good w/ no incease in pedal pressure but not too sure about that 1.
A few of my friends haven't had good experiences with the exedy stage 2. Their racing clutches (Single disc, twin disc, etc) are good, but my buddy went through 2 exedy stage 2's in about 5-10k miles.
ouch 2 stage 2's in 5-10K miles?? thats nuts...how if I get that act it can last longer then I got the stock to last me...I just want a clutch that is more durable then the stock one, not really worried about how much hp it can take or anything cause I'm not gunna be modding my car any time soon.
Hey guys, I've been on and off the board a little bit here and there. I've got an 03 WW Evo, CF hood, usually around the south side of town. Im in the market for a set of coilovers and wanted to know if anyone locally had some for sale.
whats up guys seems like its been forever, hopefully you're all doing well. It would be cool to have a meet this spring once the weather clears up a little bit, maybe sometime in March or April?
