jerry went ran a 12 on 91 i believe

 

Yes Jeremy (aka Jer.k), poncho, and Jerry have. Jerry and poncho did it on race gas. however myself, jerry and poncho are very close to doing it on 91 pump gas. well are all in the 12.0- 12.2 range on 91. my goal is to run an 11.xx on 91 this year.
Fallon was not good to jerry yesterday. he did manage a 12.0 @ 115 on his 91 map. On his race gas map things were not happening. He would blow out 1st gear and spin right up to 9000rpm then could not get into 2nd gear screwing him up.

 

My goal is to go 11.9 on an evo 8 turbo at fallon. The only time i have been to the track was in sac and ran 11.8 with a cut out in 4th gear. Before i go out i would like to have a 10.5 hotside, new clutch, and some porting done.

Does anyone know of any evos starting in 03 going faster than 11.6 from northern nevada area? everyone listed above has done it pretty recently.

On another note. had did the whole unrivaled crew do! last time the fastest car was a 13.1

 

The boards were not working, but they were giving out time slips.. The only run I herd the announcer call out for them was for the evo they had.. 12.6 they did not give the mph for that run. That would have been a good time up here 2 years ago. B.S. Billy and his guys made it out...billy had a 600 hp sticker on his hood. 600 hp 383 on NAAAWWWWSSSS and could only pull a best of 14.5..hahaha. The rest of his guys were only slightly faster and slower

 

12.6.....Thats not terrible! but you're right if your not a low 12 you cant even compete out here anymore!

 

Its ****ing sad when theres like a **** load of evos in RENO area and none of them are hitting low 11's..... Anybody want to borrow my 50 trim so you can do this?.

Yes there is a ton of evos in the reno area however the fastest ones yet are still on stock turbo's along with stock motors. If everyone in reno who owned an evo had the goal of going a low 11 i think it would have been done long ago and more than once. The guys with built motors and big turbos hint (alex and chris) need to step up and see what there cars can do this year!

I would not exactly say I have a "big" turbo. A few people have 35r's in town. I do plan on hitting the track when I have a good working head that does not leak. I do not know what fuel I will use yet but it will not be over C-12. I'm thinking VP 109 which is still unleaded.

my cars finally tuned and it feels awesome...a lil over 400 on pump. jeremy did an awesome job tuning it i would recommend everyone get a tune by him. i think he had as much fun as i am driving it lol. will be going to track soon to see what it can do.
