what the **** is up with people not looking to see if you are okay? that is so damn pathetic!!!! not a single witness either! thats what happened in my accident, right in the middle of a busy intersection, and no one cared to be a witness. that **** pisses me off. thank god you are okay then and were able to get out of your car on your own. hit and run drivers should be taken into a field and shot!!

Not too long ago the laws were such that an innocent bystander that wanted to help could be held liable for his actions if he did anything wrong. In other words, people who were just trying to help were being sued. Now there are good samaritan laws to protect people that help, but the damage is done as people are still wary and don't want to be troubled, (in other words, selfish).
Sad that people are like that nowadays.

I talked to the body shop today... they took my car apart and surveyed the structural damage. They told me the frame is still impeccable except the front right pillar where the car landed on the roof. The cost to fix that and replace the body panels that need replacement is gonna be $2400. Im gonna pay that out of pocket because I dont want the insurance premiums jacking up on me again... I already pay $300 a month as it is. Thanks for all ur support, and kind words. Im so stressed out because of the accident and I had midterms at school today and I couldnt go to school because of my condition and i didnt have a car. *sigh* I have to re-build my life... all over again.

i dont see how it is your fault, you were hit from the back, BY LAW you have to be 51% of blame before it can affect your premiums. look to the future knowing that.

Well, there HAS to be at least one witness there to confirm that there is less than 51% of the blame, but there were no witnesses so they were forced to conclude 100% of the blame on me.

well but you have rear damage showing a collision, and in case the point being that the damage could have come from before the accident, there should be glass, panels, paint chip, and etc. on the ground at point of impact right??

All that's left at the point of impact were the skidmarks made by my tires. All the glass on the car is still intact, no body panels came off and the paint is scraped, and not completely taken off. All that needs to be done is the quarterpanel has to be smoothened out, the rear bumper has to be replaced, the roof has to be bent back in shape and the scrapes of paint have to be re-painted.

Man, really sorry you had to go through this. I used to live in LA, and the insurance industry out there is the biggest racket you'll ever see. You did nothing wrong, infact you performed correctly in that situation, and you're the one that has to pay for it. In my dreamland of justice I want you to hire an attorney and take your insurance provider to court, cause there HAS to be enough evidence for them to prove that you had nothing to do with this. You having to take fault is a bull**** crime.

All I can say is karma's a *****, and whoever was driving that SUV had best put the latte down and watch out. Glad you made it out of that alive man. Keep rockin like dokken.

Thats horrible man. Thank god your ok though. Were only here once man and like everyones been sayin, its just another bump in your road of life. We will all go down a different trail and do different obstacles. I like yourself about 3 years ago totalled out a car that I loved. Owned it three weeks, then it was gone. I still to this day don't know how I walked away from the accident, like yourself. But ya know what man. I smile everyday knowing life is good and I was granted another shot. Take advantage of it. Obviously your doing something right man.

Damn Kareem I hope ur alright bro...Don't worry bout the car it'll get fixed. My friend totaled his month and a half STi and I was in the car with him along with 2 other buddies. I was front passenger and we hit a car, me hitting the car first then we hit a tree we flew over the curb and hit a brick wall. if that car wasn't there we woulda wrapped around the tree and i wouldn't be here...Be glad you're alive and look for the better things in life. Stay strong!! Don't worry that Truck will get spotted someone has to of have seen something!
