I could have sworn alan told me he was on stock ecu in the RS and I just figured the SE was too .
of course im also basing this on the fact that Ryan gates is on the stock ECU in his X with over 700 whp and 2000cc injectors... as well as everythign else.
doug im sorry if my coment upset you, I've spoken to alan everal times at the track so my memory is where I am getting my information. Since he runs AEM my comment and memory is wrong. I don't go back and edit my posts to change information I have in them.

i guess i would have to do a lil scouting around. but off the top of my head. tunners certified for aem in town . . . theres dennis at LDL , and hondoctors have there tunner servion do there cars. the hard part is finding an AWD dyno to rent and even thats kinda easy. Dougs dyno power. / early evo has a AWD dyno and alot of evos running stock ecu's are tunned at his facility and by him. bro you should come to the meet on thursday on sahara so you can meet some new folks and maybe check out what were all running.

Im going to head out to the track. Either just going to watch or run the BMW a few times.
If you have the factory ROM in your car still, you are on 94170008. That ROM was plagued by the 0300 random misfire code. Going to the factory issued reflash, which was 94170015 alleviates it partially, but the only way to be rid of the P0300 is to shut it off via the ECU periphery. You still may get random misfires, but the ECU won't trigger a CEL unless it is a major misfire.
