need your help guys, one of my friend's is planning to buy a black evo 9 that was owned by a guy that works at lexus of las vegas.....does anyone know this guy personally and knows what parts the guy installed internal wise??....i saw all the basic bolt-ons and worked on this car already by installing full coilovers and a hks inake system recently.... 2 of my other friends said they knew the guy and he installed some cams in it.....the car idles like STOCK w/ no valve train clicking noises. please help on more info

 

I remember seeing this car when i lived next to the dealership. car always looked good and never saw him drive the car hard the few times i saw him leaving the dealership.

 

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh... however, 2 guys getting drunk does sound like something me and Ed would do. Luckily, I don't own a gun.

yeah that sounds like djbrian. we turned my rotors in the back of lexus one day. he had evo X wheels on it then he was selling the wheels. dont remember him saying he had cams. it was pretty stock looking car, and i have NEVER seen or heard of him racing the car. hope that helps. good luck

just picked up a carbon APR front lip today....hopefully i dont crack it just getting out of my driveway....

 

^^^^^you better raise that front end. i know for sure if i had a lip kit it would be broken the first week and you are alot lower than me.
