On my 8 its toward the firewall and on the bottom of the motor.... Won't come out the top .. ABS and fuel rail are in the way on the passenger side..

Won't come out the drivers side cuz of the motor mount and intake.....

I ended up taking out passenger side axle.... And raised the motor a few inches... Loosened exhaust a lil bit .... And that's how I gave birth to it...

 

So, I was just leaving the shop after getting the cams installed, when I make a right turn on to Trop(I had a green light). I'm driving straight and I feel another car bump into me. I'm like "wtf!?" and pull into the closest parking lot. This Mexican guy gets out of the truck. The first thing I ask is if he spoke english. NOPE. No surprise. I know a little spanish so I asked him if he was legal.Lmao. If he wasn't I was gonna tell him to give me $300 to repaint my bumper and be on his way.lol.Then I asked him for his paperwork(insurance) But no, he said it was my fault so I couldn't have it. So I said I would have to call the police then. Waited around for a while and 2 patrol cars and a bike cop pulled up 20min later. Bike cop asked me to explain what happened, then asked me for all my papers. Then he asked the other driver for his. Turns out he has NO license AND it wasn't even his car he was driving! LMAO. They ended up giving him a ticket for that and following too closely. They also towed the truck.

This is 3 accidents in 10 months for me and they've all been the other drivers fault. What luck huh?

I'm just glad there was insurance on the truck.

 

that makes 2 of us with damages, except mine someone hit my **** and bounced so now i have body damage and paint to do oh well

 

Sorry to hear that. Do you notice any difference in the cams or do you have to wait until you get tuned to notice?

 

It's night and day with the cams. Great mid range and top end now. Should be better after a good tune.

 

I'm pretty sure I've got my fuel issue figured out! For those of you running +28lbs of boost, do you have ARP head studs installed?

 

good to hear your cars running better , head studs are a must eric. im not running that much boost yet on my new set up but im on head studs for sure

 

if your running 25psi or higher i highly recommend swapping the stud for arp or the L19 just for peace of mind trust me... good luck

 

I need a tune too after throwing in some cams. I'm on a stock ECU. I wanna get it done one of these upcomming weekends. Any suggestions on where in North LV? I mean I would be able to drive out south too....

HELL NAW! No but really.. I thought headstuds were only in regards to being over 500hp. If this is the case, I'll get em installed and bump up the tune to over 500hp.
