Not sure if it's illegal, but I'm pretty sure it's against their policy. . or I've been blind all these years.


Is there a reason you can't ship it to a FFL? I've been tossing around getting rid of one which I never used and was going to look at gunbroker, but haven't ever gotten around to it.

 

A broker sounds like a great idea or just taking it to one of the stores aroound here. I've only put 3 clips through it, so time for it to go.

 

The FFLs I've dealt with assessed a 25 dollar fee for whatever I bought through them, I think that may have gone up recently though. Always good to consult your local forums for that kind of stuff though to make sure you're legit/legal. Also, who knows, you may score a sale without the hassle of shipping.

 

Yeah, I think I will look into a broker or just place an ad in the paper. I'm gonna price it to sell fast so I really would hate to access any fees.

also, the gun stores will also be able to help you sell, don't be afraid to make friends with those guys. I dont even own a gun and I make friends with them. Never know when you'll need that kind of a friend

If its a handgun you need to do the transfer at a FFL or Police station.
