Yo, I talked to Dino(speedcircuit), whom talked to FIC and there are updated clips. I was assured I'm getting the updated ones. Hope your car gets back to how it was right after the tune. 11's with a prepped track shouldn't be to far away!

My car is having issues. Again... Lucas thinks ts the starter , a few other people think it's the alt.

It won't start unless push started... Jumper cables don't work. The radio and lights work fine when the car isn't running... Any ideas!??

 

starter for sure! I have mine out of the car we could swap and check it out.

 

Wait.. for which? I have some 2150 FIC's that are not yet plugged up.

Gotta be starter. My favorite trick to see if its the alternator is to get it running and unplug the battery cable. If it dies, alternator. If it lives, it's fine as the alternator is keeping it alive.

 

Jim, the 1100's for sure, I'm not positive about any others.

 

It is a problem with the clips not being soldered and only crimped on the plug and play adaptors for the new high impedance injectors.

 

Good deal STM has starters for 200. If I make the order from them, does anyone want to buy some OEM oil filters. They have em for 6 bucks!!!

i didn't have an issue with my pigtail connectors, but i ordered mine from MAP which was most likely sitting on the shelf for a while. david, i know you ordered your set directly from fic, either you got a connector from a bad batch, or it's ppm ie random faulty part. i've been following the fic injectors for a while on the forums but it's the first of its kind that i've witnessed. good luck!
