has nothing to do with coils. its all in the tune
thats a bad coil. Could have been a stock car and had that happen

Mine takes a few revolutions when its mad cold, but generally its good. However, with the 35r turbo I was blowing coils pretty bad (went through 3 in a week.. it pretty much took only one or two pulls and it would blow), regardless. I got the NonCDI and it's been great ever since..

I understand things arn't perfect when you guys run these bigger builds, but I enjoy the luxuries of my street car and I don't really wanna give anything like easy start ups, up.

Ha
Oh, heres another excuse..
My car may be sitting 2-3 weeks at a time. How will that E85 do then?
Lol forget it. I shouldn't have brought it up in the first place. Feels like a Suby guy trying to justify trading in for an Evo on a flat 4 forum.haha

Matt, cold start issues are only found on cars with larger injectors and e85. It has nothing to do with the ignition on stock ECU. A small change in starting IPW solves it forever. I run 2150cc injectors and my car fires on the second crank, like clockwork. As for sitting for a while, my car sat for almost 4 months when I broke my leg. I had to replace my Odyssey battery, but the car fired right up after the pump primed the rail.
