So went to courtesy Mitsubishi for them to check why my battery drains...and with the things installed on the car and stories I heard from other evo owner about dealerships denying warranty coz of aftermarket parts, I readied a MMWA speech in my head.

So I drove to the service bay with the exhaust note much deeper and louder than stock that everyone there can't help but look. I'm just thinking...ssshhhiiieeetttt.

Surprisingly enough, they just asked if there are any aftermarket radio installed. I said, no, coz I don't. And they took it in to get it checked, they found a tsb about the headlight or drl running out the batteries.

I was talking to Todd, about dealerships denying warranty and he said, as long as the part has nothing to do with the warranty work, they will do it. Soooooo, I didn't need to do a MMWA speech! Haha!

It would have been better if they just changed out my battery to an optima red top.

Anyone knows what is the TSB number for that? So they can just change out my battery and call it a day?

I can't wait to see what my 2150's do too man. I wonder if some of those other things are necessary. The fuel rail/fuel pressure regulator.. thoughts on this?

I know what it's like to be limited on power because of a fuel system! I would say it's worth upgrading those items, that way you don't have to worry about it later limiting your power output.

true true, but isn't a double pump and 2150's generally the biggest bottle necks?

I'm not an expert on fuel systems and I would agree that those two items are bottle necks....

I remember someone telling me that with two fuel pumps you might need to raise the base fuel pressure to make them flow more efficiently. The fuel rail could become a bottle neck, but not as much as the two mentioned above.

I'm no expert either. I've just seen most peoples mods consisting of those two the most. Not many regulators or rails. I'm asking not to be right, but to know if I should be buying these parts while the car is under construction.

No worries, I'm curious to hear why Thomas went with his choice of fuel setup.

I have a pair....they're straight and true...just really worn. If you're just trying to replace worn rotors these aren't for you. If you have a cracked or worse rotor these could be used until new replacements can be found.

try rotorpros.net for oem style replacement rotors. When I had my IX as a daily driver I tracked and autocrossed these with zero issues.... They sell "centric" brand which is the supplier for stoptech.

I went with the rail and regulator because I want more control of the fuel system and will be changing my feed lines out to a -8an and using the factory -6an for my return. If you replace your fuel rail you must get a fuel regulator.
