yeah my evo 8 trans has 100k original miles and it was being daily driven and raced since day one, and it shows. wen i pulled the case apart it was easy to see my 1st gear was blasted out. Teeth were missing and the out put shaft looked all chewed up .Also the trans would grind up top and my clutch would lock me out anytime i tried to shift past 7k.
yeah i cant wait for it come back fixed, I hope its nice and quiet .

I'll BE THERE!!! I'm a super n00b, not to cars but have never tracked a car. This should be interesting hahaha hopefully i can put this 9 turbo in my car before i go, I'll bring my buddy who has a GTO and my other buddy with an evo 8, (boricua evo)

Does anyone have an 8 with two step tuned? I wanna know results, I read that some people like and others think its a waste. Any opinions?
i have 2 step with a pretty basic power mod list:
i have a full custom LVmevo exhaust with an EPM o2 Housing
Ebay interfooler with an ETS lower
Injen intake/Perrin Filter
GUS MOD stock BOV
262/264 cams with cam gears with an stock head port
Dyno Doug Tune on E85(between 25-30PSI spike depending on the gear with a Hallman MBC)
i went high 11s at around 117 or 118 cant remember . A good set of tires will help out alot, i hear MM doesnt prep the track very well. Good luck
