Yeah, 2-stepping is the key. But as this is the first time I have a car that needs a 2-step launch....I might lose the jump. I need to research some more over this launch pattern.

 

im one of the lucky ones who has a notchy shifter unfortunately, and plus i dont know if i can brag about my drag skills.. on top of that, ive never launched an AWD car down the track. i can see myself bogging everytime i launch. lol honestly, id be stoked if i manage to pull off a mid 13 pass with a 103-105mph trap.

Got my first speeding ticket

I-15 south right after sahara.. Guy said he paced me on his motorcycle at *88*. Which is BULL. When I checked my rear view he wasn't even in my lane. He even admitted "you were PROBABLY doing 85-90." He was such a nice guy considering "I split the difference for you". Total douche. Wouldn't even talk to me. I wasn't even pulled over for 5 min.

 

that sucks.. isnt it too early for cops to be pulling people over to meet their monthly quotas? they usually dont care until the end of the month.. you should contest the ticket, i bet he wouldnt even show up for court!!

 

First pass I did with this evo x was 13.7@98mph in 100 degree weather. I only had an AMS cat-back everything else was stock.

I bet you guys will hit mid 13's!

sweet! i just would hate to have weak passes coz people hella judge the evo Xs already being heavy and slow. i guess its all pride. lol
