I've looking at turbo upgrades but I'm a bit confused about the pricing on the ones I'm looking at.. fp red and green are about 2500 and 1600 if you send the stock turbo in to just upgrade the internals. What about the blouch dom 2 turbo? Its 1600, is that for a whole new turbo?? Also looked into map ef2 and ef3 but they have the prices pretty clear. and feel free to throw me some advice or recommendations on which turbo to pick. Car is mostly dd and every other weekend warrior. More than likely 91oct don't want to mess with e85. Thanks in advance!

Dom 2 sounds like the whole turbo, fp is more money because it is ball bearing. It depends on how much power you'll be happy with. You will probably want to upgrade your clutch as well. On the jb Fp Red my stock clutch lasted about 2500 miles @ only 25 psi of boost.

Another thing to consider is spool up. Do you want near stock spool up for dd? Maybe an Fp Green or Bbx lite would be good for you.

I found it more difficult to launch the car on the Fp Red compared to the stock one. With some practice I'm sure it can be dialed in.

On the bright side, if you pay attention to our timeslip, it states that you actually beat me coz your reaction time was alot better than mine. You technically won. Lol

Thanks for the input, I really want the green but I dont know if its worth the extra grand compared to bbx or ef2.. Is the bb really that much better than jb?

I read up on the new bb red, apparently it spools as early as a jb green.. But then again its only a grand to upgrade your stocker to a jb green. Too many things to consider.. If only money wasn't an issue. LOl

Id go with a BBK if you plan on staying with 91 octane, but CBRD is going to Ball Bearings as well, i dont know if you can buy a JB BBK anymore.
