If I can make it after my clinicals I will come... Same as last weekend but both the event and my clinicals are in Salt Lake... So hopefully I can finish, get home, change/shower/decontaminate and make it to ESA.

 

I'm in desperate need of the caliper pins for the stock brembos. Does ANYONE have atleast one spare or a full set that I can buy? I also lost a hawk racing/street pad (due to the missing pins on one side) if anyone has a spare brake pad please let me know!!!!

 

I bet that was was scary.

 

I have a set of stock brembos (fronts) that I was going to be selling, I can maybe sell you the pins out of those. I also have hawk pads in them, shoot me a PM.

Wonder what it is going to be like... I mean... Stock for stock M3 > 335i... M1 > 135i... But I wonder if it'll be N/A and so it won't be able to keep up with a lightly modded 135... I've personally seen modded 335is that would strip the paint off of an M3... but they are also out of warranty and not still showroom ready...

If M1 = old school M3... we could have a pretty cool car on our hands... Assuming it is reasonably priced.

Once again, they will attack the track and fight it out for the quickest time, prize money a champion's trophy. Lap Battle is Utah's exclusive competitive time attack source and the only ones bringing you MMP's world famous Outer Loop! Compare your times on the very same course as the world's best. The Outer Loop is home to the American LeMans Series, World Superbike, NASCAR, Grand Am, World Challenge and the 2011 NASA National Championships just to name a few.

Lap Battle's Ultimate Car Challenge:
In addition to the normal Lap Battle time attack we are introducing the Ultimate Car Challenge. This will pit drivers and their cars against each other in an event like none ever seen in Utah. Not only do you need a fast car, not only do you need to know how to drive it, you now get credit for how good it looks and what it took to go fast. The Ultimate Car Challenge is open to any Lap Battle Competitor and the registered owner must drive the car.

Lap Battle Ultimate Street Car Challenge: $200 prize for 1st place (Lap Battle Street class rules apply)

Lap Battle Ultimate Tuner Car Challenge: $250 prize for 1st place (Lap Battle Race class rules apply)

The Ultimate Car Challenges will consist of 2 points events. Time Attack and Appearance/Engineering, 75% and 25% respectively. The contests will be graded on a curve with the top Time Attack finisher getting 75 points while the last place finisher getting only 1 point. Similarly, the top finisher in the Appearance/Engineering portion will get 25 points while the last place car will get 1. I(Biggie) will pick 4 impartial judges for the show portion with me being a tie breaker if needed. Remember we are racers at heart, so you will get the most points for form with function.

Lap Battle Forum Car Challenge:
As we all know too well, the internet is full of bench racers and Formula 1 keyboard drivers. Which online forum has the fastest cars and drivers? Now is your chance to prove your forum is the best and that your posts really are with reading. Settle that online grudge with cold hard lap times. Bring home the victory for your favorite cyber hangout while also taking home an extra $100 prize for 1st place(Fastest competitor representing a regional forum) along with a 100,000 post count worth of bragging rights!!!

Lap Battle Kart Challenge:
Lap Battle Bonus Round!!! At the conclusion of the Lap Battle awards ceremony, the top finishers in each class will go head to head in a 10 lap race on MMPs cart track. This event is free for the qualifying drivers, but anyone else wanting a chance to win the coveted Lap Battle Bonus Round Trophy is more than welcome to enter. $50 prize for 1st place plus a TON of bragging rights all winter long!!!

3rd Annual MPRA Endurance Race:
Miller Park Race Association will be holding its 3rd Annual Season Finale 3 Hour Endurance Race on October 30th during OctoberFAST. Full on door to door endurance racing on a road course is one of the most taxing and exhausting forms of motorsport for driver and car alike. Multiple drivers are requires, along with pit stops for adding fuel and changing tires. You might even be able to be part of the action! Some of the teams need help in the pits and if you feel up to the challenge, volunteers are always welcome. Email biggie@lapbattle.com if you are interested in being part of a race team pit crew?

Car Club/Forum Corrals:
Each Forum/Car Club is welcome to come and set up a corral in the Paddock. So you get to park with your friends in the facility and represent your Club/Forum and show support for your Forum Battle competitors.

Parade Laps:
I've got MMP to offer up some parade laps for those not entered in Lap Battle but still wanting to get to out on track. Space will be limited and will be first come first served.

Vender Tents:
Some of the our favorite local business will be out to support the events. Take the time to get to know and support these business. Enthusiasts helping enthusiasts is the easiest and quickest ways to help grow the motorsports scene in our region.

WT Borrow someone's car for LapBattle please! I'll represent UtahEvos... But my car will be useless against the cars that tend to enter.

 

Find someone to setup my coilovers for me, and some slicks and you can take mine...

 

Biggie is selling some super cheap great slicks (at least, I think it was biggie I saw selling them).. And I bet Solid or Vesko would do a great job setting them up.

 

I've got DOT race tires, full race slicks, camber gauge, toe plates and scales to corner balance your car. Let me know when you are ready to go fast!

 

That's exactly what I need too! Now I just need money... Gotta finish paying for all the stuff that was stolen off the car, and the slight "upgrades" I did while I was replacing it (brakes, rims, turbo, intercooler, clutch, bracing, suspension, etc.)
