LAPBATTLE ROUND 3, Outer track. Cant wait. i ran a 2:19.204 and came in 4th place in AWD class on race rubber, being the highest placing evo coming in right behind Brody Hamblin running a 2:18.423 in his SOLID AUTOWORKS STI. Which i believe is running around 600whp, There was only two of us evo's on the track, which means i need to get some back up out there amongst the slew of subies! Get your cars set up with some race break pads, high temp brake fluid and some sticky rubber and join me out on the track and lets sweep the AWD class....
BIG UPS TO BIGGIE ON PUTTING ON THIS AWESOME EVENT! TO MUCH FUN FOR YA ALL TO BE MISSING.

Only because I'm always busy with stuff that is more important than a car meet. I drove down to Provo for last weekend since everyone said "Oh I'm sure it'll still be going on even by 6." Got there at like 4:30-5:00 and no one was there and the last like 5 cars were leaving, none were Evos.Plus, I have an STi, it takes me longer to get to the meets. Jeez.
I have a front set, EBC redstuff pads. I can give them to u for next to nothing!
It's a WRX, but it really wouldn't be any faster if it was an STI. His times from the last Lap Battle were a little off do to an unbalance drive shaft shacking the car apart half way down the straight.
Was supposed to have my car back from the shop on Friday in time for the carBQ but looks like it will be delayed until Tuesday. Oh well guess I'll have to wait a little longer to debut the JDM rear. I'm having them paint the diffuser matte black to match the trim, any thoughts on this??? I think it will look better but maybe loses some cred as an original JDM bumper....
Also I blew out a tire and only had them replace the one instead of all four because the tread was within a few mm's of the other tires, bad idea?

And that sucks... Did he get it fixed?

Depends on how many mm are in "a few" if the other tires are so new that they really are that close, I would guess you should be fine.
My mistake, it is a WRX. n he told me it was only really affecting him after 110mph or so... but what ever. i still only ran 1/2 a sec off of him n his car is crazy modded. n still puts a smile on my face!!!
i just hope round 3 has more evo's on track
