Yep, sitting there in pieces with beer bottles all over it. Unfortunately, now that I have started it, my spare time is about to go into the toilet.
Yep High School Drama all the time
I don't think the motors are very different either.
Nice to see the new project doing what projects do best
I will be out there on Sunday shredding it up
It would be nice to see more Evo's come out to these. I think there are only 3 of us that regularly go out.
Tom with his Black Evo 9 that can drive, Randy with the Gray Evo X MR and myself. I bet both of them will be out both days. I would if I didn't have work to do tomorrow

The first engine will be a mild 425ci big block producing about 550-600 hp. The second engine will be a max effort 440 ci small block producing 750+ hp. The end goal for the car is to have the baddest olds in the state running single digits in the quarter while retaining some streetability...we'll just have to see how that goes.
doing higher compression then if you aren't doing FI?
Who needs free time anyways

I have seen a few Ralliart guys come out before
Its all about having fun in the end
I have a fun competitiveness with my friends their usually.
On another note, it's that time of year for me: My first emissions inspection. Can anyone recommend an Import-friendly inspection shop? Someone that won't freak out if they see a catch can?
I'm in Utah County.
Just moved here from Oahu was rolling around with Hawaii plates for about a month. Wondering if anyone can fill me in on how bad they are about the tinting laws out here. And of there is any possibility of passing inspection with tints out of regs I got another car I gotta get passed.

Tinting laws here kinda suck. Rears and back can be as dark as you like. Front must allow at least 43% light in.

I unfortunately don't have any recommendations on getting an inspection done somewhere that would over look this... They have really been cracking down on tint, catalytic converters and a few other things around the valley lately with these shops

My name is Dallin by the way
Anyone know of a local machine shop that can port and polish a head? My friend got quoted by Brad Jepson for $1200 that includes a full race port, valve job with new valve guide's and re-decked. Seems really expensive.
The head does not NEED to be re-decked, but isn't a bad idea. You can have it checked out by the machine shop to see if its warped at all. If you are going for bigger power or want the best seal possible then having both the head and block re-decked would be in your best interest to make sure both surfaces are true.
