Do you have to run slicks now with all that power? I'm sure you get some hefty wheel spin.

For my launch I hold the e-brake, let the clutch out just enough to eliminate the drivetrain slack, engage the factory 2 step and let out slow.

I will figure it out sometime hahah , I'm going to buy a clutch first before I start my practice sessions.

we have a local deal here we call the 100 foot drags, its actually about 150 feet but it gives you practices on the lauches. I was 2 stepping at 6k and if i did not do a dry burn out i was rolling smoke off my front tires.

i did however go against a few cars that run 11.0-11.3 and in the 150 foot i was beating a few of them

Thats awesome. Do they hold that at firebird or the Meridian fairgrounds by chance? Every time Im up there in the summer it seems like they have autocross or something cool going on.

i couldn't get any traction when i was in the left lane. i think i have the launches down to a science now. we will find out at the next midnight drag night. found out that my tune is really conservative, so when i get my interior put back together i am going to have criptballer advance the timing alittle to get some more power. today we did a couple pulls and the base pull was 311whp and 301trq. after adding 2 degrees of timing we lost alittle hp but gained 15 trq. so next sunday i should be dialed in just right Today was an interesting day for paul and i during our attempt to install some 18x9 kyowa evolve rims (3inch lip) on my evo. the back cleared just fine, however due to the 35mm offset, i need to get wheel spacers and have some longer wheel studs installed in the front. damn brembos!

Where did you have it dynoed? I should see you next midnights, I just ordered a 8.4 pound battery and am now wiper/wingless lol, I'm going to remove some other crap from my car and put my test pipe back on. I will practice launching in the meantime.

And those wheels are the jam , good luck getting the fronts on

Does anyone know where a good place to weigh my car at? Im guessing I could use the recycle place on 33rd and 2nd......

my buddy has a dyno app on his laptop. you do some 3rd gear pulls and put the logged information into the chart and BAM!! his screen name is criptballer. shoot him a pm and he can hook it up for you anytime. it isn't 100% accurate, but it gives you a good comparison on your gains 8.4 pound batter huh? where did you get that from? i want to get a lightweight battery as well. here is a video of my 13 sec run from the other night.

Gravel pit or a transfer station will work.
