Perhaps I could be a good resource to some of the Evo guys that are new to the 4G63T, but I'm actually the newbiest of newbies on the Evo. We also have Luke, who is and will be an outstanding resource on these cars. Much experience on the 4G63T in that guy, and he's been doing it for many years, and doing it all well. Maybe we can sucker him into fireing up that barbeque this Sat! Hehe, he might be too busy working on the house, or showing it. We'll see.
For the stainless clutch line, is it easy to install? I order mine too, Luke told me to install one for better shifting.

Wow, I just found this thread. Cool **** to see us Hawaii Evos and Lancers finally trying to get a club going. I drive a 2002 OZ RRM turbo lancer. I'd definitely be down for a cruise sometime this weekend. If anyone is interested, post what time would be good for you, and where to meet.
It look like we will meet at the racing track, some of us want to drag. What time I don't know... where to meet before going over, don't know, may be just meet at the racing track. Or maybe we can gather at Kmart for blablalbal and all go together to the track.
Ok, if you guys go to the track tomorrow, let me know. I work til around 7 or so. If you are going ebfore then, then maybe we can meet at the K-Mart on Salt Lake on Saturday then drive up to the track in Mitsu style. Let me know.

we will be tuning with a Super AFC and boostcontorler and MY FJO wideband. We will tune the Air Fuel ratio to a GNATS ***! The FJO I can data log via Laptop through the RPM band to insure that the A/F is correct. Yes we have the Busher settings for AFC but that is on 94 octan gas.
I've been playing around with some C-16 (117 octane) race gas since last night. Although I still haven't changed the plugs out or tuned the AFC for race gas, I'm not feeling any significant advantage at all. I'm sure the AFC is tuned too rich for the race gas so that could be some of it, but I've got another theory. I'm guessing the stock Evo ecu just won't give the timing necesarry to truly take advantage of race gas. On a 1st and 2nd gen DSMs, if you add race gas, the ecu will give you gobs of timing if all else is working right. I would see at least 25 degrees on my 1st gen, which is quite a bit, but I'm betting my EVO is giving about 10-12 degrees at most by the way it feels. I can't confirm this since I don't have a datalogger for the Evo, and I'm not going to invest in an OBDII datalogger because I'll be getting the AEM standalone in a couple of weeks. It would be a complete waste to buy an OBDCII datalogger that would of no use to me that soon. Sure would like to confirm this timing issue. I could have borrowed my OBDII datalogger from the cop who bought my SS, but that version is only licensed for GM vehicles, so it won't work on our Mitsubishi products.
If any of you guys have, or can get you hands on an OBDII datalogger to use for Sat. or even Fri night, let me know. If I could just see how much additional timing the ECU will give (or not) with race gas, it would be good info to have. I guess some research in these forums is in order to get up to speed with this issue.
BTW: I'm going to be getting all t-bolt clamps from Hydra Air Pacific today, and I'll make up a list of the exact size numbers to get for reach part of the IC piping and diverter valve connections. It'll make it easier for the other guys that want to switch out to better clamps since t-bolt clamps are hard to eyeball for the right size like normal hose clamps. It's best to try them on the piece for propper sizing. hydra Air will let me grab a bunch of clamps to try them out in the parking lot. I list the size number and count for each size, so you guys can just go down and pick 'em off the shelf without any hassle and worry about proper sizing.
