Did you buy the car used? It sounds like someone hit a curb or something bad. That just does not happen on it's own. Be very careful about taking it to the dealer like that. They won't fix an alignment problem, and if they find suspension pieces bent, they may void your warranty for the car being in a minor accident. They also won't cover a worn clutch as that is a wear item. If that is the case, don't hate Mitsubishi for it because Subaru and Dodge are just as bad on bogus warranty claims.

Now, if you bought it new and it drove off the lot like that, I would turn right around and tell them I want a different car or my money back.

My guess is that you bought it used after the owner dumped it from being in an accident, or that you let a friend or a girl (not all girls drive bad) drive it, and they either beat the hell out of it, or thhey hit a curb at a minimum.

In any case, the dealer most likely will not cover this kind of damage or wear, and you're wasting your time taking it to them. However, it may not hurt to try your luck, put it all back to stock, and take it in and see if they will help. If you want to try, either Luke or I can loan you a stock diverter valve so you can take it in. Just PM one of us.

z2evo,i think im either going to have sonic or high pace do it, im leaning toward sonic bc they have done an evo clutch before, but they are are a little more pricey. they are gonna do it for 700 and high pace will do it for 500. i got the clutch for 540 shipped.it was the cheapest i could find from prostreet online.

Dustan78: Let me know how it goes. Im sure a lot of us will be in that same boat really soon. I like to do my own work when possible but a clutch job is just too big of a damn headache. I do however want to install my own cams. This after almost paying someone to install my turbo-back and intake. There is nothing like doing something yourself but sometimes you just gotta leave stuff to the guys that do this for a living.

Hey, do you guys know about the Hawaii EVO site? Sorry, I'm a noob, but it just got up and running. Its a lot easier to keep track of threads because all the posts aren't in one huge 40+ page thread. Were any of you guys at Ward theater on Sunday? I saw a blue and a yellow EVO in the bottom parking around 9pm as I was leaving the theater. I wanted to go say wassup but had to get my car and by the time I got back, the yellow one was gone. I noticed that the blue one had his front emblem painted blue like the rest of the car. Anyone?

Hxllxman PM'd me with the Hawaii EVO site. Not sure if anyone else here is checkin' it out. Peace!!

Dan

Yeah... when creating an account, you'll have an error. Just wait 10 secondes, go back on the forum and try to log in. My bad, i didn't setup the email STMP .
Even when you are log in... I wonder if you have an error as well?!? Let me know.
