Nice political move there, Evo_Dadi.

I have not picked a particular path myself, since I am using products from more than one vendor. But, I will say I have purchased Works products and have enjoyed them quite a bit. I am not a Vishnu customer and have yet to drive a car with their products, so I can't say if their parts are better or worse.

I am eyeing the Vishnu Stage 2 when it is available. After taking a ride with Shiv in it, I was more than impressed. But, then again, Works has not announced their turbo kit (hurry up already!), so that may bring something interesting to the table since Pete over at Works is a genius when it comes to cars.

Talking

Well if you need some help deciding ... you're more than welcome to come for a ride sometime during the day. I'll be there, with my Evo ... which will have:

100.910 Brain Flash 91 Octane
101.002 Brain Flash P2 Upgrade
125.201 Vent Dual Valve
130.100 Aperture Throttle Body
136.301 WORKS Power Cams
140.200 Exhale DP
140.400 Exhale IP
140.500 Exhale AB

165.102 Clutch Kit C2
165.103 Spin Flywheel
165.500 Clutch Line Stainless

230.300 Swaybar Set
260.500 Croxx Plate

280.101 Front Brakes Pads
280.102 Rear Brakes Pads
280.400 Brake Lines Stainless

All from Works. And for the record I have no affiliation with Works past being a customer ... and a satisfied one (although that's just based on customer service so far which is amazing). I don't get the car back until Jan 5th so I'll be able to comment on performance then.

-S ...

I've updated the start of the thread with some info I got from Shiv today regarding pricing for Xflashes, dyno runs and baseline Xflashes. Scroll back to the top to see the news!

Thanks for the invite, Jan.

WORKS will be there -- for the drive portion only.

We will also offer on-site reflashes and P2 installs for anyone who is interested.

If anyone would like for us to bring other WORKS goodies, please let us know. I'll make sure to have at least a few Grab shift knobs and Hold battery tie-downs on hand, but will not bring Exhales, Croxx Plates or any of the larger items unless I know ahead of time that someone would be interested in having us bring them.

See you on the 24th!

I may be interested in a P2 reflash--will you be doing this after the drive where ever we stop? Will there be any discount to intice my wallet?

This is starting to get real exciting!

I believe David and the Works team will be performing reflashes before we actually take off on the drive.

The reflash part is pretty quick, but the installation of the hose assembly takes a few minutes to do.

You will love the P2, btw.

Do I need to reserve a spot for dyno runs, or can I just show up?

I would reserve a spot since there are limits in place on how many people can do custom tuned Xflashes and how many people can do dyno runs.

If you are going to do a dyno run, let me know so I can add you to the list.

Hey jansolo, I think I met you and evodadi at the Best Buy in South County. Either way, put me down for a dyno run on the 24th.

By the way, I am running a Vishnu Stage 1. You said that you have not tested their products yet. If you are interested I can hook you up with a test drive on that day.

We can offer a 10% discount on the WORKS Brain Flash, plus free demo drives in your own car with the basic Brain Flash. The demo is a fun option for everyone because it allows you to try out the Brain Flash on the road and then decide whether to keep it, go back to stock, or upgrade to the P2 without any committment.

Jansolo,

Do you still have room on the list? I am interested in a custom Xflash.

Yes we do have room. I will put you on The List (first post in the thread, in case you're wondering where The List is located).

Sweet! I would definitely be interested in taking a drive in a stage 1, since I've already driven in a proto stage 2.
