attention so cal evo owners

Do Not, I repeat.. do not take ur evo to Norco or Ontario Mitsubishi for service. After leaving my car there ( Norco mitsubishi ), for 3 weeks, my car end up with a key scratch from the rear quarter panel passenger side all the way to the front fender. and off course they did not admit that they did this. The manager is so rude and told me that the evo is a piece of sh%&T and said that if u want a real car, get a muscle car . Because back in the days that's wut they drive and it will spank the evo's ***. I just take it easy with his comment because my evo are in his hands. And don't ever take ur car to ontario as well. when I took my car there for them to check wutt's making the noises comming from my axle, They totally Joy ride it. How did I know?? well.... my wife was driving towards the dealership and she saw my car flying down 50 on a 30mph zone...and she told me why the tech drove my car so fast. I was like....?!?! anyways this is my story..

peaceeee

PS- the reason why my car was at norco for 3 weeks is because they were getting me a new transmission and had me payed 3500 .

his nickname is vinny, and yes i dont know a big guy who looks like a mafia mobster huh? just tell him joe nichols says hi. trust me i know him. and the techs DONT joyride, you just need to stop the bull**** and simply take your car somewhere else. i have 4 friends who bought evos from those dealerships and the service sections are the BEST YOU WILL FIND, VERY MOD FRIENDLY!!!!

man... that sux... where else can we, so cal evo owner, take the car in for service??

so far i only "heard" Josh at HB mitsu provide the best service....

do we so cal people have any other choice?

i mean hb mitsu is about 40 miles away from me... dammit

EDIT: Can we start a good dealer/service person thread now? that would be more useful imo...

take it to norco, ontario, or pomona (they are all the same company) they are the best and are very mod friendly...avoid murrieta valley, they dont even have half the stuff to be called a service center.

I bought mine at Pomona only b/c I worked them down to invoice.

I also commited to myself that I would never take my car back to that dealership because their lack of knowledge regarding evo's and turbo's in General. I would double think taking your EVO to a dealership for service, as I have only heard horror stories about dealer repairs...

My 02..

Does anyone know a place that I can take my EVO to in the San Fernando Valley area? I am very concerned about taking my car anyplace....especially dealers. I only take my cars to the dealer when there is warrenty work to be done, otherwise I don't trust them. I just don't thiink they really know what they are doing.

Yes, SoCal Evo would be a better place, or within Regional Forums here on EvoM.

For the guys in So Cal, there are a few places to get your car serviced..

Rancho Cucamonga - GT Motorsports http://gtmotorsports.com/
West L.A. - Brain Storm http://www.turboperformance.net/bsp/
Hunington - XS Engeineering http://www.xs-engineering.com\
Hunington - RMR http://www.rmrproducts.com <-New Website
Santa Fe Springs - www.roadraceengineering.com

Just to name the major few..

I am not saying that the dealer is the devil, I hear there is a good tech at Hunington Mitsu and Thousand Oaks..But who wants to chance them passing the car to a tech that dont know S....
