Hello everyone,

I have not seen any dedicated threads on any car forums for Sierra Vista. We are not located in the most opportune area since it is a good 30-miles before we even get to I-10. This makes it difficult and can quickly grow uninterested for those of us to make the constant drive back and forth to places such as Tucson and Phoenix in order to meet other EVO drivers and enthusiasts.

I have been coming back and forth to Sierra Vista since 1999 when I was in the Army and now Sierra Vista has become home to me. I know that Fort Huachuca is home to the Intelligence Center of Excellence and many of you probably only come here for schools. I figured while you are here, that many of you would more than likely drive your EVOs and it would be nice to be able to fellowship with other EVO drivers during your breaks from academics. For those of us that live here or assigned here, I figured this would be a great way to meet each other and possibly start building bonds and share ideas.

I have noticed that there is an increasing number of EVOs on the streets here and it makes no sense for Sierra Vista to be as small as it is and we not get together from time-to-time just to chill out and plan possible events. This is not one of those separation things between the EVO8/9 and EVO X as it is still an EVO at the end of the day as far as I am concerned. Nothing should prevent us from at least throwing the deuces to each other on the street/road or briefly talking car “stuff” when we see other at the gas station and whatnot. The best place that I have witnessed things of this nature was when I was stationed at Fort Hood from 2006-2009 when we met every Friday night at 2000 at the Target parking lot. I am not sure what restrictions presently exist in Sierra Vista but I am sure that we can find places to hang out.
