Will Shiv be out there too?

 

I will try and contact Shiv to make sure he is coming along. I have the Pete and the rest of the Works guys there and they will be offering P2 reflashes at 10% off along with other stuff from their product line.

Just come along - Lancer or otherwise. We have people with 240sx's coming along as well, so there is no way we will restrict any car from being there, be it Lancer, Honda or anything else. Just show up, hang out, go along for the drive and eat with us at the BBQ. This whole meet is a great opportunity for everyone to hang out and have a really good time.

We've had numerous requests for getting the GFB BOV, so I am hoping to get a discount via a group buy. If anyone is interested in getting the GFB BOV, please PM me so I can let the vendor who we are going through know.

 

Is that similiar to the Works BOV?

 

It's the same thing really. I talked to Pete@Works today and he has informed that they are getting the latest and greatest version of the GFB BOV that has been newly redesigned for the Evo. The previous model was not quite so perfect.

 

If you live in the Sacramento area and would like to come down to the meet, there is a thread on NorCalEvo dedicated to the Sac guys convoying down together.

The stopping points so far (it may change) is from Sacramento (for sac peple) then onwards to Fairfield (for fairfield people) then maybe to Vallejo (for the vallejo peeps) and finally a mountain drive down to Hayward where we will meet with the Bay Area Evos.

We have a good number right now enlisted for the convoy, however it would be great if we can get a good number to match the bay area folks so we can have a huge turnout, one that is hopefully comparable to the SOCAL meets.

Lets make this happen and also JanSolo has worked very hard to get us discounts and the tunerse out there, this will be a great opportunity to get parts, test/ride/see other peoples ride with the mods you have in mind as a lot of us are modded, especially with flashes.

Here is some good news regarding the meet. WorksRally will be raffling off a P2 Brain reflash at the meet. The plan is to raffle it off at 2pm over at GB Motorsports in Hayward. This raffle only applies to Evo owners, sorry!

 

update on Time and Meeting place for the Convoys down to Hayward.

Date Feb 28th: There will be two locations where we will be meeting please read carefully for the locations and time below.

SACRAMENTO
Time 10:00am to 10:30am
Location: Best Buy Parking Lot in Arden Fair
1901 Arden Way
Sacramento, CA 95815

The planned meeting time is between 10am to 10:30am in sacramento, from there we will meet with other fellows in Fairfield.

FAIRFIELD
Time: 11:00am to 11:30am
Location: Starbucks/Blockbuster off N.Texas Road
3334 North Texas Street
Fairfield CA, 94533

Again the planned departure time from Fairfield is 11:30am the latest, as there is supposedly a big turnout at GB Motorsport, we hope to arrive there a little earlier to get a good parking spot.

Now I sent out a contact list earlier this evening, that will be convenient if you happen to run late and need to contact someone. Hope we can get a good turn out and I will bump this message periodically to make sure other members see's this post.

Just a quick update for people who are interested in getting the Xflash at the meet on the 28th. Shiv informed that he will be giving out a discount of 10% off of baseline Xflashes at the meet. The regular price for the baseline Xflash is 395$.
