Keep reading this first post as I will update it continuously.

Here is the plan in all it's glory:

1. Meet up at Starbucks at McCarthy Ranch at 11am (Works will be there for P2 reflashes to all interested parties at a 10% discount, info on Shiv being there for baselines at a discount Xflashes to come soon).
2. Drive off at noon (no delays this time).
3. Drive up 680 to Palomares to 580 (map below).
4. Meet up at GBMotorsports/MPJ Peformance. <- that there is a link you can click!

I talked to Gino (the guy that runs the place) and this is what they are going to offer:

- BBQ (eat until your pants burst!)
- Product give aways (he told me he would get some Borla and Perrin stuff tentatively)
- Possible discounts on parts and installs. So you can either buy stuff from them or bring stuff you bought from other vendors and pay them to install it.

is this just a EVO thing or can all lancers come along for the ride

 

Of course Lancers can come along. The bigger, the better. We are going to be inviting some WRXs, 240s (again) and some of my friends with 350z's.

 

I want to get a roll call of who is going. So if you plan on attending, please post letting me know.

 

I talked to Pete at Works today. He said he and the rest of the Works folks will be there for the next meet, which is a perfect opportunity for anyone to get a Works P2 reflash at 10% off.

Where you guys located at? I'm interested in meeting up with y'all.....altho, i get a little initimidated around anything turbo....lol...

 

Most of us are in the SF bay area. Best thing to do is hop on www.norcalevo.net. We have some Sacramento guys who want to roll down caravan style to the next meet.

 

I found the road we are going to be taking for the drive. This one is good - and probably a bit safer than Calaveras since this road lacks 100 + foot drops and actually has guard rails and is TWO lanes instead one. Map and more details coming tomorrow.

 

First post updated. We've gotten official word from GB Motorsports/MPJ Performance just today (thursday 05th).

 

are you EVO guys shure you want us little lancer guys around every time they have come out to the taco hell meets they never whant to drive and we lancer and eclips guys get the cold sholder and the evo guys leave . The same thing happened in Medesto this last week end with the Evos from down south so it is not just a nor cal EVO thing. some one how posted before memay share my findings.
