I decided not to sell it anymore. What happened with the clutch?

 

oh man, i wish i would have taken you up on your deal. i keep telling the GF what a mistake it was not to have picked yours up lol

well i bought the car, drove it to my sisters house around 20 miles, parked it.. woke up the next morning and as i was filling up the tank to make the drive home the clutch just POPS....

man i was soo mad i called the guy who i bought it from and asked him if he could help me out with the cash since i had specifically asked if it would make the 6 hour drive home and said "yes it would last the drive" however he said it was no longer his problem and then ..he then tell me that one of his friends had me on "video street racing" in a city i dont know very well lol.

asked him to show me the "video" to no reply haha.

 

Damn that's shady. This is what always turned me off from making trips to buy cars. I almost went to SoCal to buy a car a while back but I've heard horror stories like yours which made me decide on not going through with it.

 

its unfortunate , but the evo runs like new so i cant complain...

if i ever see that guy posting up a car ill be sure to let everyone know.. this forum does a lot of GOOD in a world full of liars and crooks.

 

I met a BBY evo at the university e85 station in Berkeley last night (1/2/13). Super clean. If you're reading this let's go on a drive through redwood!! You looked like you were in a big hurry I hope I didn't scare you off! Anyway, sic ****ing car.

Yup. So far I have the only RR I've seen in Santa Cruz. No more noise!

wasnt able to attend, had to go to a funeral but it was decent around 7 cars or so.. next meet there will be 4 more cars with me
