Rim of the World Pro Rally

Some of you are well aware of Southern California's largest Pro Rally and Club Rally, some of you didn't even know there were rally races in California. So here's the official race website: www.rimoftheworldrally.com

Also, I'm heading up a team of crowd control volunteers. This is one of the best ways to get up close to the action, as you learn more details of the race than people who just come to see cars whiz by and then leave. If I recall, volunteers also get perks like reimbursements on lodging, goodies, shirts, and prizes (from the race sponsors). For Fri, they are planning on having a special stage with head-to-head racing at the fairgrounds, along with a car show, R.C. car exhibit, and maybe a drift event.

If any Evo/Lancer people want to join our large team (we will work the same stage together on Sat), sign up at http://www.rimoftheworldrally.com/work.htm and send me a PM to let me know you want to be on our crew. Feel free to mention SCLC or SoCalEvo.net as your club affiliation, but that's not as important as you letting me know you are part of our team. Looking forward to seeing many of you guys there, and not just Subies!!!

I am totally up for this. If my son isn't racing his mountain bike that day he will be too. The link to the work page is not up. Keep me informed.

I must have typed the URL wrong, here's the correct link http://www.rimoftheworldrally.com/work.htm and I'll fix the link in the above post as well. Thanks. Your son is more than welcome, he can sign up to join you as late as the day before the event.

Anyone who signs up, send me a PM with your first and last name so I can pull your information from the database and add it to my list. There are 400 names already on the workers list, so it might be hard for me to find all SCLC, SoCalEvo.net, and EvoM people.

Anybody else coming? I only have 9 people signed up to represent the Lancers/Evolutions. Last year, there were more than 300 Subarus there, and at least 30 of them working it! Chris, you should bring your video games too, we'll have a party in my room Fri night!.

This will be the best spectator rally in the USA with the new venue and location. Club entries are almost maxed at 40. Pro entries will open up soon. Travis Pastrana is expected to be running. Huge Mitsu, Suby and VW owners car shows. Be there, volunteer and be a part of it all.
