We had a useful thread over on EE, but it died and I wanted to keep the info up to date since the price of E85 varies a lot in the SF Bay area. Usually the price of E85 is around 50 cents lower than 91 octane, but twice I pulled up to a pump and it was a few cents higher than 91! If only I knew ahead of time!
So here's the thread again. Please update when you buy E85 so we can all keep track of the stations with good prices, and avoid stations who jack it up.

Capitol Auto Mall and 87 San Jose Propel has been steady @ $3.05-$3.09 and for some reason I always get about 40-50 miles to the tank better when I fill up there. Might sound crazy but always happens that way.

Paid $3.159 for E85 at Chevron on Montague Expressway in N SJ. Nice price.
I'm also keeping track of fuel efficiency on my Talon; 14.6MPG.

 

@ Pinegreen My aunt lives just up the street from that chevron and that station is really great or really horrible. At times it will be low and stay MUCH lower for months at a time and can be a great place to fill up. But unfortunately when it gets high it stays high for sometime too Currently its $3.69 and has been steady there for a few months But when it dips low it does have its advantages...

@norcalbmxxx. Thanks for the heads up. I didn't know about the pricing issues. I'm not cool enough to run e85 yet....but hopefully some day. I just happened to notice that it was there.

 

$3.13 and has been steady there for a few weeks Propel 880/1st st. in San Jose.

 

I have been monitoring the price in chevron off willow pass for a whole now. It's averaging $3.39/gal.
