Mods are great, but driving is even better! One of my favorite stretches of road in SoCal is up Little Tujunga Canyon .....

Up near Ventura, northwest of LA and Beverly Hills. The area where Mulholland canyon and Topanga Canyon are.

 

Actually, Little Tujunga Canyon is off of the 210 near Sunland. It's an awesome drive that will tax your skills to stay smooth.

 

^ I'd love to go canyon runs with you since I'm in LB too but I think chances are you'll be on your own halfway thru...

I know that it looks like the scene from Initial D. Its the mountain pass with the Sil-Eighty. The one thats driven by the 2 girls. I forget thier names. But where were the pictures taken from?

 

how could i have missed this area, that is truely heaven!!
i went up to do canyon runs twice on the weekend...i must do this.

Those pictures are not of my EVO, it was from an EVO owner in Japan. Those locations in Initial D are from actual places in Japan and the owner of the silver EVO went to almost every location as sort of a trip and took pics.

1. Akina lake, the third pic is where the races start at Akina
2. The race from the sil-eighty
3. The evo home course (Izu(se?) mountains, with the 3 bridges at the end). The second to the last pic is where in the Initial D movie, the MR2 took that special line, ie flying
