Moving to Phoenix Question about emissions

Mods please move this if not in the appropriate area but in the next year im looking at moving down to the Phoenix area now my first question is what do you guys do about emissions I currently live in an area where emissions/air quality testing is not performed. Car setup is far from stock and on AEM EMS so an obd reader obviously won't connect. Im looking into dual residence or selling it to my dad and having it titled in his name to keep Missouri plates. But best case would be for me just to be able to register it in AZ didn't know if anyone had found any loopholes or had suggestions.

Thanks in advance

Emissions in AZ is incredibly simple, they just plug into your obd port and check your gas cap. If everything checks out you're good to go. I'm not really sure what you're do about your situation

So they don't check tailpipe emissions then? I guess I could pick up a stock ecu then so they cam hook up with a scanner and be good to go. Also the mod list is 6766, full race manifold, built lower end 2.0, ams race head with hks 272 cams, precision 880cc injectors and a 255lph pump straight 3 inch exhaust with muffler

They've never done the tail pipe sniffer on my car. Just plugged into the obd and off I go

Anytime buddy. I actually have to get my car emissions tested before October 14th. I'll report back and let you know how it goes.

Little update for you. Just got home from emissions. Testing was easy and took all of three minutes. Pulled in, he hooked up to my obd, checked my gas cap, and that was it. No sniffer, no visual inspection. Good luck

Have to remove the message to plug into obd port other than that they are easy to pass.
