Back east I know theres a bunch of great guys who do excellent installation work for fair prices (gill, turbotrix, pruven, ams,etc.) but what about out here in northern california? I heard Vishnu was good but I don't trust Shiv installing my Buschur and AMS stuff so can you guys recommend a place that does high quality work for a fair price?

shiv doesn't install things. he runs vishnu which is a tuning company, not a mechanic shop. what exactly are you installing that requires a drive all the way into nor cal?

 

RRE for SOCAL and DSS for the more northern folk.

 

Works has been doing all my work but I've only gotten Works mods so far. They do general maintenance etc for evo's too. I've heard good things about Grouppe S - both of these are in Bay Area. I've also met Nate at S Squared in Sac. He's never worked on my car but seems like a stand-up guy and has a good rep as a tuner and mechanic.

 

I heard Shiv tuned that car.....so I don't think there has been enough said

 

Like lief said, I don't do installs myself. But Diablo Performance (The install center right next door to us) is certainly capable of whatever work you need done. Just give us a call and we can arrange a time.
