Considering an EVO - Any AZ Dealer Recommendations?

Hi all - new to the community. I am currently considering an 03 or 04 EVO as a replacement for my soon to be off-lease S2000. There are other cars I'm considering as well - but at this point the EVO is at or near the top of the list.

Anyone else make a similar switch?

Also, any Arizona people out there who can recommend any specific dealers and also give an idea of who is competitive with pricing?

Thanks!

Where at in Arizona? I was raped by the Mark Mitsubishi in Scottsdale...but you always have a sore a$$ when you go to any car dealerships...Atleast I do! The Mitsubishi in the autoplex of Tempe seemed pretty descent, but wanted way too much down for my income! I would find a used EVO VIII...Let me know when you get one, we have a crew that we are starting up in the Phoenix area through HP motorsports...

I would recommend Big 2 Mitsubishi in Mesa. They were the only one that didn't mark up prices when the EVO first came out. I take it back there for service even though Tempe one is closer to me. I think Mark Mitsubishi sux.

I recommend Big Two also. I bought my 1st one from them back when everybody else was jackin prices.
They also gave me a good price on my 2nd one, better than MSRP.
I can't remember my salesman's name but he was very cool and didn't push the ussual BS.
Vivid Racing also bought there's from them.
Good luck

Thanks everyone - I will have to start checking around. Does anyone know if there are any more "new" 03s floating around out here?

BTW I'm in the East Valley but I'd be willing to go to Tucson or other areas if needed. Might consider SoCal also

I bought my '03 EVO in April 2003 from Tempe . They were one of few dealerships in town that were not charging the "market adjustment" at the time I bought my car. Although I heard Tempe had a $3k markup when EVOs first came out, I paid MSRP there.

I haven't seen any 04 EVOs on dealer lots yet. I'm curious to see the new leather interior.

I saw an 04 at Tempe a few weeks back. IMO, the leather looks pretty good. However, if I can find an 03, the $$ saved may offset the slight 04 changes.

I would NOT recommend Mark Mitsu in Scottsdale. I have mine serviced at Tempe. Their tech that works on Evos knows his stuff on JDM and DSMs.
