What is the best deal on a new Evo with tax and licence in the area?

What should I expect to pay for a used Evo?

Another question. I met up with a private seller today and he is asking 26500 with 11xxx miles. The car showed some wear with small rip in the drivers seat and no name tires. Is 26500 to much to pay? Or is that a good deal in the San Diego area being that they seem hard to come by.

 

hey when I lived in San Diego, i bought my Evo at San Diego Mitsubishi for 29500 and this was awhile ago. With tax and licsence and crap it came to about 31000. Im sure if you go there now you can get 1 for around 28000. I heard up north near LA they are going for pretty cheap.

 

What do you honestly think I could get on a new evo with tax out the door with 14g down?

 

To be honest Im not really sure. I moved to Philly couple of months ago and havent been in the area so im not really sure how much they are looking for now a days. but 26500 is garbage for a used Evo with 11,000. If youre putting down 14gs im pretty sure you can get a awesome deal on a 03. If I held out longer I could have gotten it cheaper but I wanted the car bad. Just stop by San Diego Mitsubishi on balboa ave. or go up north. I suggest not to go to the dealer on the mile of cars area. They seem really shady and i got my oil changed there and ended up with oil finger prints on my hood and bad service.
