Good afternoon sweet cheeks!!! How nice of you to finally roll out of bed.

Good afternoon sweet cheeks!!! How nice of you to finally roll out of bed.

my friend bought his civic from there and they were not the nicest people for him to work with. he then had an incident with black ice and took it to them to fix it, and it took them 3 times to get it kind of right. and i took my evo to the mitsubishi dealer and they ****ed up my brakes. they told me the pads needed to be changed, which took them 2 DAYS!

Mitsu tried to replace my pads too. Told me they were almost gone. I asked to go into the shop and see before they replaced them them. Went back, and pointed out to their idiot tech that I had over half pad life left. All the dealers have problems though. RC Automotive was the only place I've dealt with that had decent service every time, and even they did half-assed cheap jobs still (since they were replacing things on my car as part of the deal for buying it). Ken Garff Mitsu is who denied my warranty back in the day, and took FOREVER to fix the motor. That made the service manager like me though because he felt bad, so oil changes there were super cheap since I could buy my own oil and they'd use it. But they'd consistently try to say something else needed to be done besides the oil, namely brake related stuff (pads and rotors). I always laughed at em after the first time. My stock rotors lasted all the way until right before I sold the car, with heating them up to well over 750*F on race pads on the track (one time they were smoking!) and yet they kept saying they needed replacing...
LHM Honda left the oil cap off our S2000 way back in the day. Funniest thing ever. Morons.
The problem is they pay the service techs too damn little to do a good job and never try to do a good job. They care about making money off of doing cheap service, not about having good customer service. We get better support for the POS Xbox 360 than we do for our cars.
Dave Strong Porsche requires an appointment just for them to clear a code, and charges 30 bucks to do so.
They all suck. That's why Solid, COBB, Turbo Labs, Concourse Autowerks, Streamline, etc etc are all great to have. Their JOB is doing a good job, otherwise they lose service business because that is their business.LHM Subaru insisted on selling me an STi and getting my car from me. The sales manager even came out and talked to me and asked what they needed to do to get me into an STi "today." They took all my info and he gave me his card and insisted like 5 times that he would call me the next day... Never got a call back.
Talk about stupid. Service can be bad, but the sales team should be on their toes all the time.
I didn't enjoy my experience with the mitsu salesman at the riverdale dealer much. Tried to sale me a IX GSR with 25k miles for 30k with mods. Walked out on the deal. Not trying to knock on ken garff its just most haven't had a very pleasant experience with them. I ended up buying mine from ken garff in downtown anyway

just trying to help you out man.
