Utah Evos
I bought mine used from Ken Garff downtown after dealing with some complete a$$holes up at Mike Riddle (I think that was the name?). Ended up getting a car that was 2 years newer with 35,000 less miles for the same price that the Mike Riddle guys were trying to get for a pretty beat up car.
The guy at Ken Garff was really cool, and didn't try to play those lame-*** games that some dealers do.
Haven't had the car to a deal since, but the buying process went well

There are alot of differences between the stores even though they are all "ken garff". They are all run by different managers, salespeople, and techs. It should be uniform, but unfortunately, its not. I am constantly trying to improve our processes and striving to make it a point to "serve" rather than "sell". It really is frustrating when i find out somebody on my team drops the ball. There really is no excuse for techs telling you that you need work on your car when it doesnt. I know that my store has more MASTER techs (there is a difference) than any other honda store in the state, and so i havent had to deal with the kind of **** you guys are talking about, but i know what you are talking about. I bought my evo from the mitsu store right NEXT to me and i had my sevice engine light come on after i got it and it took them 6 TIMES in the shop to finally fix it. Although i think it was mitsu's problem as the tech was only flashing the ECU with what they were telling him to. I would just try to avoid making assumptions that every "ken garff" is garbage because you or your friend had a bad experience at one store. Its like saying " i met someone from california and he was a total a$$hole, so i hate everybody from california" . . .etc.
well my friend purchased his honds from the dealer YOU WORK FOR. He was not pleased with the service at YOUR dealership. Also I hate people from california as well, just because the west coast sucks.
he said there was one salesman there that was very helpful, all i can remember is at the time the salesman said he had an evo hahaha but my friend really was not pleased with the techs. and the mitsubishi parts/service dept sucks hella. i'm glad you work at the honda part hahaha but im really just looking for like an 88-95 civic something hella cheap just a beater lol
The problem with Ken Garff is they are big enough they can push back on Mitsu a little, but also big enough they get high powered business idiots running the show. Which means Mistu thinks they are an ok business.
Sucks for us customers at times.
For the first time in about seven techs. I had one actually treat me with a measure of intelligence. Mike was his name and was a joy to work with.
