I have the TSII hood and I like it. But you can get what ever you want man. I do also like the CW one

 

I should be heading up there about 10 am and be there around noon and heading back down to Orem around 4pm. So I will be up there for the Afternoon
I do also kind of like the VSII hood but it all your preference

Ps. I realize this isn't a Subaru forum. But I've had a few people on nasioc tell me not to use mobil 1 in a Subaru... Anyone else know anything about this? Maybe I'll pm or call Solid and see. The dealer uses mobil 1 and I have coupons for 2 free oil changes. Which is why I asked. Otherwise I'll just be taking it to solid anyway.

Yea me too..it worn me out after doing it for so many years. I'll be up for the weekend then moving up April most likely first week. I haven't seen Steve since that night we partied in Sundace but I'll see Chaz of course. You still have his #?? Hit him up for some clearbra. I wouldn't think it would hurt it if it's like mitsu and comes factory with mobile 1 I do the oil changes myself on my car but there's no mitsu here anymore and I can't get a damn oem filter Maybe I'll just change it up there? It's just hella expensive whenever you get mobile 1 changes anywhere

 

I have heard that too on the Legacy GT Forum something about the 5w30 that they do not like. I am running it in my RS though. Not sure what I should run in the GT. Jake let me know what Solid suggests.

 

Why would I use 5w30? It comes factory with like 10w30 some weird brand oil. Plus, I'm pretty sure I'm running Mobil 1 now since that is what Mark Miller uses.

All the Suby dealers here use Mobil 1 too. I was just confused. I will let you know as soon as I get in touch with them... It may be awhile though.

 

mobil 1 is one of the best oils made, i dont know why they would say that, or where their info is coming from, but it is one of the only "truly" synthetic oils that i would put in my car, even if it didnt come from the factory.

I thought it seemed odd too... Since Porsche even recommends using Mobil 1 10w30 syn... The one with the green cap... Just like I used in the Evo.

Don't let the suby owners bother you about wanting free oil changes. Maybe they have enough money to just wipe their butts with $80+ of oil changes but I don't. Most people posting said "I use XXX oil and haven't had a problem." Duh. Untill you have a problem, everything is great. I wonder how many people ACTUALLY had issues with mobile 1 and how many are spreading some rumor about something they heard from a friend of a friend of a friend of a....... You might call all the suby dealerships and ask what they recommend and if they have ever seen problems from Mobile 1.

Also you could just take you 2 oil changes and THEN change to what the forums recommend after that. 2 oil changes with Mobile 1 isn't going to hurt at all.

Yeah, the suby dealership will say Mobil 1... That's what they use. At the stupid new owner thing last night he talked about how that's what he would recommend anyway but how it really isn't much different than any other kind of oil with the same weights.
