Some day when it gets warmer we're gonna take it up and go camping and use the back as our tent. There's so much f-ing space back there.

Congrats Jake. It'll be fun to see it on the track!
Thanks Chuck, and thanks for the car fax... I had already gotten it from the dealer though

My car wasn't for about 10 minutes yesterday. Now it looks pretty bad. The funniest is all the dirty water marks going from down near the headlights and curving up into the hood scoop.

What do you think happens when you go camping in the back of an STi? We wouldn't be telling ghost stories

Anyone have an EVO 8 tranny laying around in great shape? I may need one. Upon taking things apart, they think that my syncros may be screwed. Still looking into it. Anyway, I'm just trying to weigh out my options....and a new tranny may be easier and potentially cheeper than a rebuild. Apparently the previous owner drove the **** outta my car! Previous owners = FAIL!

Go with a Shepard rebuild. You wont regret it.

Maybe a stupid question....where is Shepard located? Any idea how much it would cost?

sheptrans.com yo

your looking at a month of downtime...that's why I just bought a newly rebuilt tranny back last fall

$1k - $3k it all depends on whats wrong and how far you build it

you could also get a quaife lsd since you've got a 03 and no lsd...you could spend lots of money there get a transfer case built too
