JUST WANTED TO LET ALL OF YOU KNOW TO WATCH OUT FOR SOME EVO 9 PARTS, WE HAVE A GREY EVO 9 PARKED OUTSIDE THE GM/MITS SHOP LAST NIGHT THAT GOT ALL KINDS OF PARTS OFF IT JACKED. ALL 4 WHEELS, THE WHOLE INTERIOR (SEATS, CONSOLE, RADIO), HOOD, AND TRUNK. COPS WERE HERE THIS MORNING TAKING A REPORT, BUT I WANTED TO POST IT UP ON HERE IN CASE THE THEIF WANTS TO TRY TO SELL THE STUFF LOCAL.

 

That's messed up. And would've taken a lot of time. Did it look like they got everything off cleanly? How was it sitting, just with the rotors on the ground? If they gutted the inside and did a clean job of doing it (so they car resale the stuff well) then it had to have taken them at least a few hours...

Also, Joey, since I'm sure everyone else is wondering this as well (unless already answered): Why the all caps? On a phone?

Its just my lazy *** not taking the caps lock off, nor the extra effort to hold down shift and capatalize correctly. It looked like they knew what they were doing, it is back there right now sitting with one side on blocks, and the other on the rotors. The steering wheels and dash is still on there but both front seats and the back seat are gone. I think we got cased out before hand because we have cameras all over the lot except for the spot the car was at. We are trying to go over video of it now to find out if they drove past a camera to get out/in.

Ha! I'm buying that exact exhaust from UR here in the next few months. Probably the full turboback setup.

I just put some S.Techs on the X last night. They're pretty nice so far. Got the full clear bra put on today. They thought I was crazy cause I didn't want anybody to drive my car. I'm surprised I wasn't biting my nails the entire time he was putting the bra on it... I hate people touching my car. Hence why 3 years ago I started doing everything myself.

I'm just lazy, so I'll ask... any meets planned any time soon?

 

The exhaust sure is cool and smartly designed... I wonder if the dual exit like that makes it much quieter than a single... And how much more restrictive it is than a single right side exit exhaust.

If they know what they are doing they could have all that off in less than a hour.
I bet I could take all that stuff out in about a hour by my self since I have done it a few times. With help from a friend that knows what they are doing too I would say in and out in much less than a hour. they only took the easy stuff none of the stuff that is time consuming I bet that In that same hour I could have gotten all the Brakes off and door panels too and the front bumper in less than a hour. You would be amazed at how fast someone knowing what they are doing can accomplish in 1 hour...


Ya most defiantly They new what they where doing for sure. I bet if you catch anything on tape it is going to be a quick in and out job of less than a hour for sure. They didnt take the Stering wheel and Dash because that stuff takes a bit more time than it is worth. Sorry this happened and I hope that they get what is coming to them
