Utah Evos
I want to do a build soon on my motor, Repaint my car, Do some Suspension upgrading, re due my brakes, get a Water cooler setup, and do some Light weight upgrades to the car
I need tell sell a kidney or something
I think the Evo IV is Going to be up for sale soon so If anyone knows anyone that has Money right now (since its really hard to get loans on JDM cars) then We may be able to work something out. Last edited by Evolution IVGSR; Feb 25, 2009 at 06:32 PM.

Car does still need a little bit of work to get going again. already have the new parts for the trany and it will be all put back together if you want.

I didn't know that you made the water intercooler

bah stock 17's FTL I've seen enough of them in every color and every tire you can throw on em
I'd just rather spend that $ on tires on a diff set of wheels 17 or 18
I like the water intercooler setup too
I really like the side by side radiator & vertical flow intercooler
thats what kinda setup I'd like cuz I need a bigger IC and a new radiator would be good too and you'd get the shorter IC piping

no i noticed that a 245 looked stupid on a stock wheel
Riley, did you see ALL the tires I EVER had on those stock wheels in the 3 years I owned it?
I had 235/45s on them once even. They went through being my normal street wheels, to being track wheels, to being winter wheels and back and forth for their whole life till you bought them, with the 710s... Almost all the RA-1s I had were 255s.
It was the "40" part I wasn't sure of, and why I said pretty sure.
And if you're talking about on Laura's Evo, I'm almost positive they are 250s, since that's what mine were when I bought the take-offs from him from Laura's car.

I also think I am going to be Putting the Evo 8 up for sale in order to try to buy back the 4 before someone else gets it
and I may be interested in Down grading my Evo to a more stock one + cash on the persons end so I can start over with a Stockish Evo I would also prefer to trad for a Evo RS
That was just at idle with the coolant temps the same, I'm sure when driving and getting air across the heat exchanger the temps will drop more (you don't see air cooled motors anymore) I will be doing a lot of testing after the Autorama.
PMed you man

I have been through that location, not too impressed. But since that's where you have to go, I would still get a quote from Mike @ Downtown. The Riverdale boys just can't get it right. I can't tell you how many times I've called them looking for a part and they are clueless. Downtown's parts department is light years ahead of Riverdale's in terms of customer service and knowledge.
However, I believe the shop manager @ that (Riverdale) location (Nissan, Honda, Mitsu, GMC, Chev, Buick), is a pretty affable dude,( I think his name is Scott.) I'm sure you could talk him into ordering the parts that you want. He was said he would've ordered me some aftermarket parts, (which actually costed less,) but he had already ordered the replacement parts the car needed. Nice guy; open to customer requests.
I had my bumper replaced last year, I wish I could find my workorder.
So in short,
to Downtown parts department,
to Riverdale's and a big
to either place doing actual work on my car. I also had a customized Montero that Riverdale screwed up on, in addition to the Evo repairs. Not to mention, the Downtown shop boys can't even do an oil change without overfilling the Evo. Weird. I won't be taking another one of my cars to either one for repair or service again.

The 255's on the stock rim are going to bulge a little bit but that's ok. As far as looks go, we'll see when they are on how they look but that is not my primary concern. I would love to have a set of rims that are 17x9 but that costs $$ and if I have to choose between new rims or going to the track, I'm taking the track day. If anyone has some used rims they would like to get rid of, let me know. I'd be interested in beat up rims as long as they were straight. As of now though, I'm sticking with the stock rims. Eventually I'll need a second set of rims when I start getting into R-compound stuff but that won't be till next year at the earliest.
