im not 100% sure yet but it think it has to do with the cables and bracket on top of the tranny. sometimes its goes in and sometimes it doesnt and when i mess with those cables it changes

spotted a grey evo 8 at Lowe's in layton today around 6ish? And another grey evo 8 headin south on i15 shortly after

Rules are not getting broken when you post a for sale thread and post a link to that thread here so everyone in our thread need to do that if ya got something for sale/trade

hey timmay, i had the same problem with my car. some how i stretched the cables while shifting hard and fast. i thought that buying shifter cable bushings would correct the problem and they did for a second or so. but anyways i got on ebay and i found the complete set used from a guy and i only paid 100 bucks for the cables and the actual shifter. i swaped them and bam problem fixed... lancer shop sells the cables but you have to take apart the whole cable, so some how you have to take apart the cable from the outer sleeve that protects the cable. good luck man hoprfully that is the problem. but from the description you gave us, im pretty sure that is the problem. like i said i had the exact same problem
