Intersting conversation my finance guy just had with a highway patroller that just bought a new pontiac g8 gxp, we asked "what do you think of those evos?" and he just laughed and said "if an old guy in an old police cruiser can catch one of those, we dont worry about them". I guess he had to run one down in his crown vic the other day cause he tried to get away and he said he caught him pretty easy. In my head i was like WTF? Who was driving the evo? Anyway, it was a little bit insulting, trying to stick up for the evo's and all. I didnt get many details on it, I just said that they are built for short stop and go rally-type situations and arent that great for top speeds.

Its a 2 bolt flange at the o2 housing then it goes to a V band, I hate it really (the v band piece, I never unhook it because they are a pain and can break easy. I unhook it at the cat, well what would be the cat. I am thinking of putting the welder to use and setting up something different, why whats up?? How are things going with you? make sure you dont blow your motor up. Be easy on the new turbo for a bit. Let me know if you need any help. My Down pipe is close to my oil pan and I tie big zipties onto the ears of it to pull it down and away from the Biger 6 speed tranny, transfercase combo, but it works. Can I help you with anything? or got something you are looking to get rid of?

, As I have heard before what you say is well, this Evo is one of the ones where you have to radio ahead and call for the chopper if you ever want to see it again. Its good that cops have chargers now. I honestly have out run a few of the old cars. And honestly if a truck tries to pull me over, give me a break. I saw a mustang cop last weekend on redwood and 7000.
