Yes, it was an MMP open track day on the outer loop course. It was scheduled to be full track, but they're still doing some surface work on diablo (turn 7). Track was pretty empty. There were may be 30 to 40 cars total. Cars were split in to two groups 1) street and 2) race. There were a couple of SCCA teams there including some fast audi's.

The S2000 felt great in it's first day out after major winter projects. Turbo has quieted the car down a fair bit. Car is at 285 RWHP. I kept thinking that it was time to shift at 4 to 5k RPM because the power came on so much earlier.

There will be an advanced PDX group this coming week during the SCCA regional. Hope a bunch of you can make it out.

did you by chance see a basically stock a4 1.8t wagon i think it is champaign colored?

 

I did! There was also what looked like a fairly stock white, wingless evo.

Mr. Bear, advanced is more about awareness and comfort level than how fast you are. If you're comfortable in traffic and are good about being aware of cars around you ... you'll be fine.

Sucks the one you have gives you ****.. wtf mine never caused me any grief at all.

They finally got all my parts at the body shop last thursday and have been going at it since. Hopefully its done soon and I can make a slc vacation trip mid april
