No I'm not up to anything Saturday, gimme the details and I"ll head down with you guys... As long as Mike doesn't mind...
lol. the place is down in orem so we could meet somewhere in slc then drive down together or we could just meet somewhere in orem. i am tied up all morning mike is going down there at 8 a.m and i am going to head down around 11:00 or 12:00 so its up to you what do you want to do? let me know...
11 to 12 works much better for me, I don't feel like waking up at 8am, no offense to mike though. Let me know what time and where you want to meet, anywhere from 5300S to the 123rd south I-15 exits work well for me.

Last to first at the start makes for a better story though!

My car is getting dyno tunned out at the track tomorrow. Come out there and then do the carts out there!

why dont we just go down and watch mikes car get dyno'd then drive out to miller and watch your car all in the same day! jk what numbers do you think you will be putting out?? you have a gt35r on your s2k now right? any engine internals or are you still on stock block and head? what boost levels will you be running and what gas do you use? do you have a link to somewhere where i can check out your car??
I don't really get the arguement of alcohol injection. If you are looking for big power, just pick up a decent sized turbo and cams. With a good turbo and cams, you can make a TON of piower on 91 octane. 400+ sn't all that hard on 91 octane with a solid setup with 20 PSI of boost, or less. 400WHP is enough to hand 99% of the cars in Utah their *** from a roll. With AWD, the dig race is a given even with only 300 WHP.
Putting out that kind of power daily beats up the drivetrain pretty well though. Why you would want to run 25+ PSI and 400+ daily is beyond me, unless you like replacing broken parts often.
An injection setup with a good solenoid controller, high pressure pump, etc is going to cost you almost $800. That's a hell of a lot of race gas that can be purchased over a large time period. Now if you are going half assed with a crappy pump and a hobbs switch then I guess you can do it economically.

Oh don't worry I get to wake up at 6 30...Ya jake you should come for sure with riley, oh and i'm going out to Miller to dosome testing with my cart tomorrow anyway so you guys could just tag alng if you want.
I think the evo would run much stronger if you took off the turbo (N/A), turned up the boost and ran alcohol injection!!!
You can make like 4000hp!
Alky cars are fast and make great power, but how long can you make your parts last at those high stress levels? A buddy of mine was runing alcohol and had a "issue" with the car. I don't know if it was alky related though. If you are willing to pay the ultimate price (blown motor) then go for it. A good size turbo and suporting mods would be the way for me, but for my current needs "stock" is better. MIVEC FTW!
