Utah Evos
We can tune and flash the EVO ECUs, the EVO AccessPORT should be coming out very soon along with all our other EVO parts. I'll post a better time frame for you guys tomorrow.
ok i dont understand you guys. on tuesday at the barbeque i asked christian if he would tune evo's and he said no. i want to get a flash without the accessport from christian after i get more parts but it makes no since because i hear that you will do it on the internet and from a few friends whos cars you already tuned, but when i ask you in person or call you up you say you wont do it. so what do i have to do?????
Okay, here it is... We were doing development tuning on the EVOs, but now with the release of the EVO AccessPORT this summer we are going to hold off until then. Sorry for any confusion...
why are you guys doing that. you would make huge profit if you just had chritian tune evo's with stock ecu's. personally, not trying to rag on you as a company or anything, but with the advent of ecuflash i think your market has totally dropped off. every month you postpone the release you loose costomers. i know that i wanted an accessport but in january decided to just go with ecuflash because it seemed you guys werent getting anywhere with it. plus the accessport is very expensive especially if you have more mods than just an exhaust when you have to pay for a protune. i know you are trying to do a good thing but that is just my feeling. also dont you tune tons of cars that dont run off accessports like miller's s2000, turbo camry's, ect, ect... my friend said that you were going to tune his evo in the beginning of april just utilizing the stock ecu... you need to start tuning evo's with stock ecu's that dont want to pay the 700 for accessports...
Haha you said loose instead of lose, you are still in high school huh Riley

Remember that most of those are running off of something like an AEM EMS or other system (like the AFC system). But I agree that for the large price on the Accessports it is better to even go for a used AEM EMS system or a custom ECUflash tune. Especially since with the EMS they would still be able to tune the Evo.
I too was planning on an Accessport for the longest time, but things have gone on to bigger and better places (and cheaper) that's the way the world works these days, just like the S1s that are vastly better than the 272s and cost at least 80 bucks less new... with a laptop and a teitronix cable I can switch between two maps (or more) just as easily and don't have to pay for the Accessport system/install (course, you do have to have a laptop and a teitronix cable). But COBB isn't stupid, they didn't get as big as they are by not keeping up with the market Riley, one way or another they're gonna do something to get Evo business, especially business from those of us who are all already tuned or modded. Plus, I know I'm more likely to buy the intercooler kit and intake from them than anywhere else, just cuz I can buy it straight from them and have it installed by the people who made it
Can't beat that, its the one and only reason I would've chosen a Suby over an Evo, ease of modification.
