Utah Evos
i have questions on meth also i want to get it but i know nothing about it haha. bllfrog is running meth and i heard from jake that his car is crazy fast... i think mike self (white evo ix mr) is getting meth this summer too...
When I bought Scotts car I did not want anything to do with the alky injection but after running it for a few months I really like it. In daily driving you hardly use any and it is very nice when you can boost 29 lbs
My only concern with alky injection is what happens when it fails. After looking into it though I think using the TTP setup with the zeitronix would solve this worry. If the alky fails the failsafe would only allow wastegate pressure which should save the engine. I had my zeitronix updated to the most recent version and was getting ready to order the other pieces from TTP to install this. Since I decided to sell it though I guess I do not need to.

That's definitely my goal for the summer...I'm pretty sure I'll end up with the aquamist HFS-5 still got some research to do tho
I think meth/alky injection is just so much better than running race gas all the time. It will definetly be cheaper in the long run, plus good race gas isn't all that common in Utah and I know I don't really want to drive to Salt Lake every time I need some super expensive race gas for my. And running higher boost is always a plus in my book. More boost=much more power=faster car

More boost = more fun. Race gas is always running through our engine, while alky only flows above a preset boost level. I can go months without having to fill up the alky (not in the summer though). If you can find someplace to buy methanol then alky injection is cheap a few bucks a gallon every few fill-ups. Not quite as cheap running dentured alky but nice when you need some because it is carried everywhere. At the trackday I ended up running to home depot to make sure I had enough.
Hahahahaha!!!1 Jake is an asshat. Jk jake. lol.
Isn't that the idea

Just in case anyone cares, last week at Sebring was fun. munoa and i pit crewed for Byron (#52 SRT-4 Speed World Challenge Touring).
We had a boost leak in qualifying, but still made the cut (down 4-5psi). We got that cleared up, but had some tranny issues about 6 laps into the main event. Byron was running only about 2 seconds off the leaders, so if the car had cooperated, he would have finished strong, but thats racing. The car was setup well by Vesko, and the lap times confirmed that. Can't forsee every problem, i suppose.
We had a lot of fun, and Vesko, Byron and Lara are great to work with and fun to be around.
We'll be ready for miller with two evolutions in GT and the SRT in touring. It will be good to see a mitsu hunt down some cadillac's and corvette's. Pushrods ftl.
