I'll give you one more, since my first two didn't sate your thirst:

On the drag strip, a kid in a souped up Mustang with NOS could stomp me, on the track, he'd be the first to run into a wall. I don't deny that there is a very large amount of drivers skill involved in drag racing, I guarentee I'd run at the best a 12.5 in Zach's car, but it isn't my cup of tea persay. I'm also not saying that people who drag race couldn't drive, just the 600 whp Mustangs who are running high performance summer tires and grandma's minivan suspension driven by the hooligans wearing hats that say "NX Nitrous Express" "I can beat this Evo, I'm way faster tha... oh **** a hairpin..." boom crash, splat

How many guys do you see out there that are consitantly running fast times (17's) that are making up excuses like "yo dude I could take any of you on the street!" There are the few that have really well set up cars (Zack, Jason) that dominate the strip and are built around all aspects of drag racing. I grew up at the drag strip and it is fun to do every now and again. My car is probally the slowest Evo in Utah. But it is sure fun to go to a open track day with some dude bro in a 911 or Vett and waste him by skill alone. Just ask some of my under powered honda friends the experience is amazing! I think both sides would be suprised at how difficult and challenging each can be. Can't we all just get along? lol

Everyone is always SO serious and half the time instead of taking the arguments straight to the track they have to confront you in person and make a huge deal out of it. Track racing can definitely improve your driving abilities too. Drag racing on the highway is a totally different thing. Drag racing from my experience can be just as fun as track racing plus if you aren't a total idiot about things it's not nearly as many people getting in fights, of course there always is that time when someone gets pissed but then they settle it in their own ways. Drag racing can be a good way to earn some eazy money if you are good at it and you know what you are doing and it has always been a fun experience for me. I love track racing when I am racing a go-kart or a skip barber car or a renaul but following some z06 or modded out porsche around a track when they don't allow you to go by just starts to suck. Sometimes it's just fun to get out with 40 other guys and find someone that you want to compare your car to and just do a little high speed run. I'm sure other people have different experiences, views, oppinions or whatever than me but this is just my .02
lets go to midnight drags at rmr once i think it wouild be fun to get a time slip and see how bad i really am

i think we should all get together one night and go out to rmr for fun. i think that would be sweet with a ton of evo's (and your s2k) haha. lets try to get something organized, does anyone know when midnight drags start?

By the way, in case anyone wants to know, Solid autoworks (modern Garage) is assembling a white ariel atom in their shop it is epic. it has the supercharged fast engine and is built completely out of a white frame (special order) and all carbon fiber. if you are down by there shop tomorrow i would go check it out... it is going to be running out at mmp this summer and as top gear show'd, its about as fast as an enzo

There is no need for hope I'm fine. It was just my observation of the attitude that most people give off to people that mess around on the street that is all. Anyway i'm planning on watching track racing because i want to see my freinds make everyone look bad.

I thought that uber bfe was Tropic, UT.

And Mr. M3, you should sell the M3 and keep the Evo.
