**** you Wes, I still hate you.

Bet if you had a spoiler on your car none of this would've happened.

Where were you parked that they towed it from?

Plus, I hate other people driving my car, even if it is just to pull it in and out of a car wash.

Speaking of that, I spotted a RR Evo IX on I215 Northbound today out around the California Avenue exit. Didn't have UtahEvos stickers on though.
Aww come on Jake, it's only $25 a month. You come everyday, you won't know the difference between the job you do and the job someone else does, trust me! lol We wash $250,000 Maserati's including DWills and thousands of cars 5 times the value of any Subie or Evo and their paint ain't complaining. lol I realise the lower qualtiy paint jobs on these Subies and Evos aren't gonna hold up as well to the auto tunnell washes, but i wash my Evo like a madman and it's got the equivalent of a $200 MAACO special and I'm pretty sure I have one of the cleanest Evos around.

Perhaps it was Criddlen?

Plus tips per wash. And that 25 doesn't include my interior and mats, and I definitely notice the difference between the job I do (when I do a good one) and the job someone else does. 9 times out of 10 there's something on the car someone missed drying, or didn't wash, or didn't wash properly. Even Bischoff's (Now Firehouse I think) 20 dollar wash that I got done wasn't half as good as my own, thankfully I got it for free.

If your Evo's paint is a $200 MAACO special then the X and GR STi paint is equal to a $5 rattle can special.

Maybe after 6 months of the unlimited if you want to include a free buff and wax with a random orbit polisher... That way if swirls do get in the crayon grade paint, I can get them buffed out. I still would have to go home, vacuum the interior and wash the mats. Clean the dash and center console, and wash the windows both inside and out again. And before I do that, I usually have to dry off some more water. Should get some air compressors to blow out the water from all the cracks, Firehouse had that, it was nice, definitely no dripage after their wash, but my windows were still all ****ed up.

If I had a bit more money, it may be worth it to me, but for now, car washes are used purely when I'm super lazy, and then it's only when the car is super dirty and I try to spend less than 6 dollars total. That extra 5 can go to a McDonalds meal you know!

Coulda been, I would've thought Nate had a UtahEvos sticker though.

You would be correct good sir I have UtahEvo's Stickers on both sides...lol ive been up in that area recently though logging fuel trims on my 1450cc injectors (Fun!!), let me say E-85 was much easier to dial in, but I still have a little work to do still.

Haha - I would totally do that for you if you signed up. A good wax on the Sti compliments of us for an unlimited customer every 6 months is no prob. We do have air to blow out the car too, you just have to mention to the service advisor. lol

Say Nate, I was just on Camshaftshop's website (Kelford) and was reading a breakin tech article on their cams, they said they recommend replacing the lifters at the same time for proper seat in on the lobes or something like that and non synthetic oil during break in at varying idle rpms. Did you go to any of that trouble?

I totally didn't see them, I woulda waved had I known it was you Nate I tried going slow to see if you had stickers, but didn't want to go too slow, wouldn't want to give the wrong idea if you were one of the Evo guys that aren't on here.

Now just include tips cuz I never carry cash, and we're set! It still doesn't include interiors though right?

I didnt replace my lifters or anything but now that I know that I wish I had just to be safe. I am however using non synthetic since most people recommend it when breaking in a new motor in general, but after a few hundred more miles im gonna switch back to full synthetic now that I have about 1500 miles on the motor and about 300 on the cams and springs etc.
