1/8 shows driving skill since the launch is key. If you have nothing good to say than don't say it.

i didn't have to search through your posts. I just read posts, and see you post meaningless posts in lots of them.

And since when was using the search function on these forums a bad thing?

the funny thing is, there do seem to be many on here with lancers, but you seem to be the only one with completely meaningless posts. But, its your lucky day, and ill give you a chance to redeem yourself:

WHY is the 1/8 mile pointless? Please explain.

ill let the name calling speak for itself.

But i think i found the reason why you don't like the 1/8th, as you say, "can't even go fast."

Theres your problem. EVO's and RX-7's CAN go fast even in the 1/8th. Problem solved.

you guys are cracking me up.

I like the 1/8th... it's a great place to get your launch and 2nd gear shift down. There isn't much effort needed getting into 3rd and 4th. That beginning 1/8th and launch is what turns the end time/trap into gold.

I was able to get my 1/8ths down to 8.6 at 89-91mph... that is respectable i think.

definately respectable. the ONLY reason i don't like the eight is b/c its not as easily comparable to other people's times since 1/4 seems to be the most common currency.

But, its certainly not worthless.
